Our customers include the major manufacturers of today’s civil, military, and business fixed-wing and rotorcraft platforms, as well as all branches of the US military forces.  We are currently seeking a high-impact Senior Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team located in beautiful Clearwater, FL.

What You'll Do:

  • Conceptualize, analyze, design, develop and integrate air data systems.  Cradle to grave ownership of new products.
  • Lead team to deliver technical proposal (design concept, compliance matrix, cost estimate and timeline.
  • Support the hardware and software design groups, as well as the verification and validation stream, in the interpretation of requirements for implementation and testability
  • Compose system requirements and decompose to lower levels for aerospace technologies such as high-speed digital busses, small form-factor power supplies, air data computing devices using CPUs, microcontrollers, DSPs, etc.
  • Direct interaction with customers and international travel
  • Mentor and elevate the team, sharing expertise and modeling curiosity, accountability and respect

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Aerospace new product development
  • Experience with MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, DO-178B with verification and validation activities
  • Experience with electronic hardware and firmware design

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years' experience in Aerospace new product development.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and moving for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a Manufacturing environment
